Lo!  You have reached the Levelord's home page.  This page is under construction. It is, in fact, a living document.  Growing and breathing and pulsating with the very life that is our gaming community.  Pulsing and throbbing and undulating to every poke and prod, every whip and whim that may... ...oh, sorry!

We were talking about facial animations yesterday and the 53 muscles in the face used for expressions.  That's alot of muscles, and it just goes to confirm for me how evolved we are towards the benefits of society and such.

That made me think about the sclera, the white part of the eye.  I did some searching, but to the best of my knowledge, humans are the only animals with such a huge portion of the sclera visible.  Is there any other animal that doesn't have the whites hidden behind the lids?  ...even our primate relatives.

Seems to me the biggest advantage to this is in reading the eyes (focal point, position of the lids, etc.) of others and again related to the importance of expressions.

"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."
